“With a solid 10 year background in the childcare sector, both public and private, I decided to set up a Nanny and Domestic Help Recruitment Agency in 2014.
After three fantastic years, my business partner and I decided to sell our Recruitment Agency in order for me to focus on my growing family.
I returned to employment as a Business Administrator in the education sector taking care of everything from email management, invoicing and credit control right through to supporting in HR related meetings, interviewing candidates and everything in between!
In 2019, I had my second child and whilst on maternity leave, I took the decision to go it alone in order to give me more flexibility and allow to me to fulfil my own dreams in being a successful business owner…and Very Important Virtual Assistant (VIVA) Support was born.
I love to help people get organised and I get a thrill from seeing people succeed and reach their goals, just by allowing me to take care of the jobs that are sucking their time and energy.
I have had the opportunity to work with some incredible people that I have helped in their time of need, when they have had admin overflow. Focusing mainly on helping Freelance HR Professionals, but also working with larger companies on specific projects, I have supported my clients with note taking in various meetings, writing up minutes, amending employment contracts and employee handbooks, implementing HR Systems from scratch and formatting documents amongst a lot of other things!”

“While adept in many areas, I specialise in creating engaging, entertaining, and informative content for VIVA Support and our valued clients. I produce content for blogs, newsletters, social media posts, websites, and much more!
Never one to shy away from a challenge, no topic is off limits. A scientist by trade, research is second nature; I love exploring unfamiliar areas, generating new knowledge, and converting it into engaging copy!
I apply a similar attitude to my note taking. I enjoy being thrust into unique scenarios, having to pick up nuanced language and terminology rapidly, to ensure quality and accurate minutes. I have been involved in countless HR consultations including grievances, redundancies, appeals, and disciplinaries.
My analytical approach and exceptional attention to detail combine brilliantly with my creativity to provide a unique, high-quality service with a smile! I hope to make you, a very satisfied customer soon!”
A word from Elly:
"I have 4 years’ worth of experience within HR in a variety of roles. I have worked in many sectors, from makeup, to fruit farming, to healthcare tech.
Across all of the roles I've had, administration has played a heavy part in my day-to-day. I have extensive experience of looking after this, as well as creating new processes and ways of recording information. Importantly, I empathise with the impact that admin can sometimes have on our abilities to focus on bigger projects and a wider strategy. That's where I love to help!
